Incandescent

Some friends of mine in Portland just stared a color film zine called Incandescent. They don't charge a submission fee in hopes that more artists around the world will submit. Their first issue turned into a book because they got so many amazing submissions. Therefore, they are doing a kickstarter to fund the costs of the first issue. If you're interested in getting a copy, which features a few of my photographs, you can buy it on their kickstarter page. Smaller issues of the zine will be available online and around Portland in the coming months.
I am really excited for this zine because it features a dying art, color film and color slide film photography. In a time when it is increasingly more expensive to print your work forums like this are really needed.

This is one of 4 of my photographs featured in the first issue.

cortes III

these are the random digital photos i took on cortes this winter.
of course my favorites are still film and slide film from previous posts.
i met a nice lady there who warned me about becoming addicted to the island.
i confessed that i already am.
she told me to bury some strands of hair in the earth there to guarantee that i could always come back.
